So some good news for us in Tasmania

Except the locals are unhappy

And unable to read the link that explains it all

What I hope is that the police are actually reading the comments.

Small minded in many ways... I did end up sending the screen shots to the police email to ask if they would speak to the people.

There are comments on the Beeb site suggesting the teacher was at fault for getting in the way of the parent who ran him over.
Cars are like Crack, and youre not going to get reason from addicts. UK or Tas.
Some well placed public information films could fix it but the powers that be dont want to.

Flip side is well done to the police for making an effort.

Although good to state a minimum distance I would say 1 metre is still pretty close when doing 40+mph. Also assuming drivers can actually judge a metre.

Why? Why why why would you read any comments under an article like that. "Small gene pool"? Nope, its the same the World (Wide Web) over. I know what they say without reading. Too many thick idiots in the world and most of them have cars.

Why? to see if the police were replying to the idiots. I may have replied to some of the more obvious ones.
