Are Muc-Off the only game in town? They’re a bit garish for my liking.

Neoprene rotor covers are a new thing to me, what's the point?

I use them when putting bikes on the rear rack. Keeps the rotors from being contaminated.

Oh. Muc Off

My rotors get covered in crap on the back of the car around here, rural with lots of mud on the roads, got myself some disposable shower caps, box of 100 for a few £ from amazon .. work a treat 🙂

Cling wrap or a plastic bag tied or taped around the rotor would do.

I've tried the cling film option. It tends not to last long.

And I'd don't mind paying for a decent solution that lasts rather than lots of disposable ones.

I got my Muc Off covers (two pairs) on some sort of deal a few years back.

Turn your bike round so you only see the black back of them.
They're great this time of year for stopping all the winter salt contaminating the discs and pads

Get the ones with green instead of silver, and spray paint the pink bits?

Yeah, they're the only option, even when I tried ordering the black and green camo colour, I still recieved the pink and black ones!

I have an issue where my bike sits vertically on the rear of my car and I have a 220mm rear rotor so the velcro doesnt have as much grab as if I had a smaller rotor and faces more wind into the velcro then If I had a Thule rack and the bike sideways, I've now lost two halfs of a cover whilst driving.

I use 200mm rotors and I’m starting to notice the Velcro loosing its effect. Preparing to lose parts at some point. Had a fair amount of use but nothing wild, so doubt I’d buy another set if I do lose half(s)

When I carried my bike on the roof, I used bulldog clips and/or reusable cable tie through a hole I punched in them.
