And I found this Brand X one for £13.99!!

What would you guys recommend? Really not looking to spend more than £25 as it's just to try the frame, it's going on a Surly Krampus, thanks! (:
Id go with the cheaper one.
The best most reliable headsets I've had are neco branded from China through eBay. Cheap as chips.
I bought a Brand X headset and the bottom of the lower cup actually touched the fork so it wouldnt turn. It was a tapered one though so not the same as yours. Several others had the same experience - reviews at link below

Christ the Neco ones are cheap at £5 from the UK! I'll just give that a go then, thanks!
Edit: ew the Neco one I'm looking at has ball bearings!
There's this one on ebay which looks half decent? http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/191375292767
Uberbike steel 44mm then a cheap reducer for straight steerer.
The Uberbike ones do look really nice but I found this Token one for £16, will it work? Really confused at the dimensions on the description, what is 44x50? I know I need 44x28.6 upper and 44x30 lower, but if it's 44mm straight 1 1/8" it should work right?

Thanks!
The 44x50 is the size of the top cover that fits over the 44mm top cup, 50mm outer diameter (the bit stuck out of the frame) , 44mm inner diameter, (the bit that presses into the frame) . It'll be fine..
You thinky too muchy...
Hehe thanks, just ordered it, soooo excited, can't wait to try my Krampus!!
I've the Token one, fitted to a 1 1/8 straight steerer. It's fine
Thanks Jamie! Got it in a shiny gold, going on a metallic red krampus frame!! 😀
