I just bought a stainless steel bottom bracket for my Scott Genius 30, right shell width etc. When fitted the crank axle rocked up and down. So i then bought the adapter rings for Truvativ cranks and fitted the BB again. There is no play but the crank arms are really stiff and this is without fully tightening the bolt in the crank arm! they only turn about 1 and a half revs when i spin them.
Anyone any ideas why this is?

Really? they were much more free with my old BB in..
