Rode my first downhill bike last night and now know why some folk have more than one bike.
Immediate confidence to go faster, clear doubles jumps with ease. It was just so much more stable in the air and just seemed to iron things out. Bloody amazing!!!!
An absolute revelation to me ๐Ÿ™‚

๐Ÿ™‚ 1 bike = compromise - it will be good enough but never great at anything always too heavy, too fragile, too flexy, too stiff

What do you ride when the other is in bits?

....the other one being in bits because it's been raided as a parts bin!

One bike is fine, but two or more is even better - it's nice to have the luxury of a conditions specific bike in the shed, even if like mine they are eBay bitsas.

Formula:

Perfect number of bikes = current number of bikes + 1
