This one went down to the wire. Wheels built on Saturday, rotors and adapters landed on Monday, frame collected on Tuesday. Thrown together on Wednesday night after work. Chucked in the car after work Thursday for the overnight drive to Morzine.

I haven't even pedalled it around the block yet.

Fun facts...

If I didn't find the fork heavily reduced in a dusty box in a LBS I never would have started the build.

Green was absolutely the right choice.

The brakes don't work.

The gears don't work.

The headset is loose.

I've been awake since 5am yesterday.

It is impossible to sleep in the driver seat of an Octavia VRS. One mark against STW's favourite car.

I'm absolutely shattered.

Edit: Why do some links show as links and others as images when they're all copied and pasted from the same place?

great colour.... but I'm guessing it's fairly portly on the scales? (16.8kgs?)

Might be the perspective, but the fork looks quite short travel. Uninflated, or are you running a 38mm fork at 130mm travel?

Cool beans!

I am off to morzine tomorrow, but it’s a family holiday, so my riding will be limited. I am still bringing my Raaw Madonna tho.. so say high if you see me!

Looks mint!

Did you swap the breaks and gears over from your last bike?

Morning all. Just had 12 hours in bed and feel human again.

Forks are deflated because that's how I squeezed it in the car. I would have pumped them up for the picture if I knew where the pump was.

Only the frame, fork, wheels and tyres are new, everything else was on my 141.

My riding will be limited this week for the same reason but from next Saturday I'm on my own. I should be easy to spot on this, especially with a shotgun saddle and child up front!

The raw looks awesome but I honestly went to Airdrop HQ with my 3 year old boy and let him choose. I'm happy with the choice.

Go easy on those first few runs.

Definitely. It's my first time on an actual mountain since pre-covid, pre-mortgage, pre-children. I've had a long break.

Haha, good way of decision making!

That looks great! I do love any Full-Sus that has a nice continuous/same angle Toptube & Seatstay though...

They are awesome bikes (especially in raw). I've repeatedly summed mine up as "silly". Usually at the bottom of something big and rocky
