Finally got my S.150 frame built up. Ordered in early April after an impromptu demo on one at Dyfi. Carried most parts over from my Ripmo, but added some new SLX/XT parts and new Burgtec bars. First ride was on Saturday. It's a brilliant ride.

Stunning! Although none matching tyre logos are highly disturbing.

Really like that.

And sensible cable routing as well.

Nice that.

One of the only bikes I'd ever consider if I wanted to replace my G1.

Though I'll have to mark you down as the pine needles need sweeping up.

These really are stunning 'in the metal'!

Enjoy.

I do like the Atherton S range - my next bike will probably be the S170.

Keep eyeing up the S200 for my Daughter too, but will wait until she's fully grown in another couple of years!

Very nice indeed! Every Atherton based NBD on here sends me straight to their website to do some browsing and subsequent man maths.

As much as I like to dream about A Series dream builds, I think in the real world, an S150 frame and swapping parts from another bike will be my route one day. Assuming you have most of the relevant parts to swap over, that's a hell of a bike for the money.

Love it.

[ looks of the S series are a bit Marmite... I'm firmly in the "love the look of the machine" ]

@scruff No, wasn't me.

Thanks for all the kind words. It looks great in the flesh, really nice details and top quality. The customer service has been great. I had small snag and broke one of the 3D printed cable ports. They posted me out a couple the next day.

A mate has an A.170. It's a really nice bike, but I might just prefer the looks of the S range.

@chakaping Yes, we need to get a ride together. Been too long.
