I know the main peloton often stop en masse for a quick pee, but do the breakaway riders? Do the four or five or whatever of them agree to quickly stop, jump off, widdle and get back on?
I've never seen it happen, though they can be out there for over five hours sometimes.

They go on the bike I think, I wouldn't imagine the TV crews are keen to dwell on it.

When I've seen them go on the bike, so to speak, they have generally had a team mate pushing their back while they go to one side. Not likely in a breakaway.

I guess they tiem their breaks, or pee on the go.
I have heard of women doing the latter also.
