Well, here is my new bike.
It has taken about a year to get all the bits together.
Just finished it today and took it for a gentle ride to see how it goes.
It feels great, definately the best bike I've ever had.
Going to hit the Pentlands tomorrow and then Glentress at the weekend.

Yes they are really comfy.
I was suprised how good it felt, thought it might be all looks.
It actually made us all like P7's with it being great colour.
Now- no more injuries please!
That saddle is out best seller, second place goes to the B17.
Really nice bike, like the colour, Green is a awesome colour ๐
Cheers 2Wheels, looking forward to getting my bike built up, waiting till next pay day to finish it off!
There's something about steel hardtails that is just right. Love the Renthal bars too, I remember when a mate of mine put some old Renthal MX bars on his Proflex in 1996, the start of the riser bar craze.
Enjoy the bike mate!
It feels great, definately the best bike I've ever had.
You can tell all that from one gentle ride of it?
it is a very nice colour. I have a white one so obviously mine is better :p
I have never ridden a HT bike that is so forgiving! many times I have thought 'oh sh1t, I'm off here!' and I wasn't!
Have fun
awesome, good to see another P7, looks really nice in the green, i love mine so happy trails with yours.
Nice.
My P7 is also the best bike i've ever ridden.
after loads of rides.........not just the first.
Nice one dude!

My other bikes have all been pretty average really.
I rode the P7 around my living room and knew it was awesome!
๐
Someone's been shopping at The Bike Chain ๐
Awesome colour btw.
Yup, you can get the Gusset Tartan Saddle from the lovely chaps at The Bike Chain.
๐
So. took it for it's first proper, mud-splattering run.
It feels amazing...
Two stand out things - the Hope M4 brakes are immence & the nobby nics are quality.
One thing that'll take some getting used to is the low bottom bracket, bashed my pedals so many times.
This was one of the gripes the guys at Bike Radar had in their Review of the P7.
So I'm a happy boy.
Thanks for all the comments guys.
Cheers.

My most favourite bike , ๐
Nice Bike, Just my Size ๐
Out of interest why did you go for the shorter travel forks than the standard 140mm?
colour of bars a bit dodgy ๐
I think ideally I'd like 140mm forks. I had the rebas knocking around. So that'll be my next upgrade.
The renthal bars are sweet I think, they match the fork stanchion.
๐
Nice one, I want that saddle too!!! =)
I had Rebas on my P7 at 115mm, and will confirm that it feels much better with 140mm Pikes fitted.
I managed to snap the same bars in Oz only a few days before the Megavalnche!
