I rather like that, it's very tastefully done.
What cranks and bashring BTW?
[edit] Argh! I can see it's a Stylo crank, but I guess that you're custom painted the large ring?
Truvativ Stylo 3 ring chainset no bash
my last but one was an 08 wolf ridge so I think it is a little minter, hats off.
when the WR went I was able to officially remove my beard and eat meat again.
PJM no custom painting was bought like that , its an anodised finish. From Wooly Hat Shop off the bay.
Nice. Like the finish on the bars and seat post.
Looks great. Dropper post would be a good addition. Really nice. Hat doffed.
takisawa....had a dropper post in the past didn't seem to get on with it , was ok but still a faff (read i couldn't flick it on the fly ๐ณ )
that's lovely !!
well done
Very nice!
Tsk. Vertical crank-arms? Disgraceful...
๐
Very nice.
And remember:
I like it and am happy with the way its turned out.
That's all that matters!
Not a fan of the Marin (not that I have ever swung a leg over one) but that sir is a nice looking bike.
Thank you for the kind comments
"not a fan of the Marin"
You make it sound like a deviancy owning a Marin ๐
Ugly as sin, but I bet it rides like a beaut.
Nice.
I'd junk the gear indicators, fit a Fat Albert on the front and ditch the white saddle tho.... ๐
The gate could do with a fresh coat.
oh, I clicked on thread, thinking you might have built your own frame. ah well.
Mchamish...the fence is brand new and now makes the gate look bad ๐
Thought i got away quite lightly with the "fence, weeding, pedals etc comments". ๐

Bit of an issue with the valve/logo alignment on the rear wheel too.
Looks kinda handy though.
Portlyone....no choice the way DT Swiss have labelled up the rims sadly.
hey bigbloke, are you running those nobby nics tubeless, if so are you using a rim strip or straight onto the rim?
Flip....no running Conti tubes, i'm not a tubeless user.
Oh and hello Phil ๐
hi hugh, you been out much lately or just building up the marin beast ๐ฟ looks tasty.
i've been flat out at work and looks like i'll miss the rest of the summer as well ๐
i have been off for over 6 months, due to various things, work and the arrival on xmas day of our 3rd little one.
Built this up over last few months and went on my first ride with the bigman on sunday on Sandy Loop, that woke my legs up.
Out at chicky thursday morning if you fancy a bimble?
I normally don't like the look of Marins, but that's very tidy. I like that a lot.
chicksands thursday mornings = tick, i'm on paternaty leave so can make it. you'll have to go easy on me and i'll try not to puke this time out ๐
