Waaay out of touch here, just never needed to know...until now. I'll probably end up with a new Giant cross frame, which is Mega Axo and I'm guessing press fit. I'd like to use my almost new Shimano CX70 chainset, can I do that?
There will be a way, you'll need a new bb.

Just to get this straight you want to fit a shimano ht2 into a pf bb?
It can be done, various ways. On mine ive gone for Sram pf30 adaptor and standard hope bb's. other ones available which are adaptors with integral bb's
MegaExo? as in the FSA set up? If so believe they are just like Shimano HTII.
Pretty sure it's a 24mm axle on a Mega Exo, same as a Shimano so shouldn't be an issue.
There are as many PF variations as screw in, ie BB30, BB91, BB92 etc etc. it's a bloody nightmare
Thanks. Not the end of the world, it's just that my current chainset is much nicer than the one on the bike.
