My chain keeps on coming off, dropping down the chainrings and off the granny ring
Now this hasn't bothered me in the past I think because I used to stick it in the big ring frequently to take up as much slack as possible and also meant it only dropped onto the middle ring or granny ring when it did jump chainrings

I've put a bashring on there recently (I've shortened the chain accordingly) meaning the chain gets to fall off the granny ring only and its getting wedged between the granny ring and a suspension axle bolt head and often has required undoing the (HT) cranks to get it out which is a right faff

What can I do to try to get it to fall off so much?
Chaindevice? I don't have ISCG mounts on my frame, is this a problem?
Not sure how much room I have for an N gear jump stop

shorten the chain...make sure ur front mech is in tune...u dont need a chain device...they will solve the problem of course but at a cost and weight.

If I shorten the chain anymore I won't be able to use the big ring at the back and front at the same time, or is that part of your point?

That widget won't fit a mountain bike mech, it'll only fit a braze on fitting road mech. THere is a device that does the same job for MTBs, though, but it doesn't look like that, it clamps round the seat tube.
