Which is yours?

Edit: substitute the postie bikes with Orange 5's and that looks like the racks outside the cafe at Llandegla on a Saturday. ๐Ÿ˜€

Want.

If its the Pashley Couriers they use you would not want one when you rode it, horrible heavy things.

They're Pashley Mailstars - when we designed the Paper Bicycle it was originally for RM, and we got ahold of a bunch of Mailstars that the posties had wrecked, and designed a bike that they couldn't break ๐Ÿ˜‰

Wow - that's a lot of metal. I hope they find something worthwhile here or abroad to do with them.

On a personal note, I do quite fancy one as a semi car-replacement project. Mudguards, trouser guards, luggage carrier. Could do half a weekly shop. Hell I could even have one at each train station either end of my commute!

Mailstars were awfull to ride, the Millenium bike was the daddy.

The stash of Park tools and Kestral bikestands would make your eyes ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

I agree, Rich. Mine weighed around 40lb unladen...Standing up and stomping a mailstar with 2 x full pouches is a terrifying experience! Gets you bloody fit though! And lets not get started on stopping the thing with smoking drum brakes ๐Ÿ˜€

I was clocking 22 miles a day on mine and got well fit but now in the van I find it twice as hard walking for 4 odd hours.

Mines still at the DO... If I had the space I'd ask to buy it..
Unlike my knackered combo ๐Ÿ™‚

Edit - as Rich said RM wont let you buy them due to insurance... Can't understand why, they seem to shift the vans on easily enough...

Your asking the wrong people.Dont ask to buy it ask to have it.As long as you paint it another colour or take the Royal Mail stickers off no problem. So typical with RM every office works in different ways ๐Ÿ™„
