[Closed] Multiple Battery Mounting

So I have 2 bar lights, which have their own battery.

On the singlespeed this isn't a problem, as I just strap one battery under the stem and another to the top tube.

However, the geared bike isn't so simple as the rear mech cable runs under the top tube and the velcro doesnt allow the cable to run free.

Are there any neat solutions to running multiple batteries on the bike?

Edit. I could use a water bottle I suppose? If this is a good option how do I stop the battery rattling around inside - expanding foam?

What about a bottle cage mount? I took a Stanley knife to a bottle, then sealed it with duct tape.

Edit - maybe no good? I'm not sure what you mean by saying the velcro doesn't let the cable run free?

And lots of it...

The little pouches for your batteries will fall apart soon anyway.

but if I don't pull the velcro tight the battery will swing about and drive me mad.

I think I might be overthinking this problem.

No need for expanding foam, I used some old bits of mouse mat. I guess it depends on the size of the battery/bottle.

Water bottle works for me, I just let it rattle. At least nobody will complain about me not having a bell ๐Ÿ˜‰
