I'm staying in Comrie this weekend - any one with good mtb route suggestions? Something around 40-50km probably, but shorter/longer also good ๐Ÿ™‚

Any pointers? Cheers, Chris

I don't know the area for "natural"- though there's some really nice scenic fire roads around Loch Earn, or there were in 1993 ๐Ÿ˜‰

But, Comrie Croft is well worth the visit, it's a wee gem of a place- short loops but so much going on.

Thanks for that - a good pointer & those trails look good fun. Bit of googling suggests there's a good bike shop in Crieff so will pop in once I get up there.

Any more pointers appreciated.

From Comrie Croft (well worth a visit) you can get up onto the high tracks to Glen Turret.

Or head up Glen Lednock and do the munro of Ben Chonzie. You could also drop into Glen Almond and do part of the Rob Roy Way.

Glen Kendrum / Gleann Dubh circuit with easy return on Glen Ogle sustrans route

Or for a bit of hike a bike and bog trotting (or fun depending on what floats your boat!) extend this by going along to ascend through Kirkton Glen - vague route with posts down to railway bed and return Gleann Dubh/Glen Kendrum

and speak to the guys at Comrie Croft before going to Crieff - they can clarify the routes posted by others above

Short run up past the diels cauldron and up the monument then back down the other side is good for a stretch of the legs.
