Gday,
I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any mountain bike trails in or around Totnes? I will be flying over to visint my wifes family and will be spending a wek or so there.
Any input would be great.

Dartmoor's not too far away, that's your best bet to be honest. There is a little near Totnes iirc- bridle way above town . Slugwash of this parish should be able to tell you more ...
Bit of Green laneing to be had around Totnes, but for 'proper' stuff its either Dartmoor, Haldon Forest or Woodbury Common for me. I'd happily show you round if you want to drop me a line.
Left side of Dartmoor you've got Gawton (dh stuff) / Tavi woods. And some other local stuff in the area I believe.
Haldon is the only real tail centre. Depends what you're after. The official red will occupy a competent rider for half an hour. There's better stuff off piste and the blue linked with the red makes it a nicer run (watch for bikes with kiddy trailers, it's that kind of trail).
