Hi, I'm looking at getting a brooks for one of my bikes but have heard some models suit some people better than others. I find the charge spoon spot on so does anyone know which Brooks has the most similar width / shape?

Cheers,

Joe

Hi Joe, I rode on a bel air which i think is like a spoon, i have gone on to a Swift, which is fantastic. Put one one the mountain bike now too.

Swift is a touch larger than the Spoon

Swift is: Width: 152mm, Length: 280mm

Spoon is: Width: 138mm, Length: 275mm

Not sure about the shape as I only have the spoon

Be careful comparing dimensions though. I love a Bel Air and a Spoon but hated a Swift. The metal frame at the rear of a Brooks is right at the edge of the saddle so I think you have to use a wider saddle than for a synthetic one, as otherwise you'll end up sitting on the frame instead of the leather.
