There are 2 decent XC routes 1 Black & 1 Red starting from Les Gets, both are on the little free maps they give out. There is no technical stuff just some good honest trails to test your stamina. ๐Ÿ˜€

there`s red and black graded xc trails and the passport de soleil is a great days riding . plenty of free maps at the lift stations .

There's some great stuff out there for that sort of riding - I've not worn armour for many a year and prefer the 'trail-ey' stuff to the full-on dh stuff, but still use the lifts to gain height.

I can mark some up on a copy of an IGN map (Froggy OS) to give you a good heads-up if you like, and we can work out how to get a copy to you.

IGN map is on-line here: http://www.geoportail.fr/visu2D.do?ter=metropole. Not sure if you can mark it up. I'd be interested to see it, too.

There is a waymarked 'tour VTT' trail that is a mix of lift assistance, small climbs and lots of good downs. Start early if you want to do a big loop as missing the last lift is hard work on already tired legs.

Cheers for the link, nickjb, I shall try and spend some time later today or tomorrow and see if I can work out how to mark the map up. You'll all have to bear with me as I tend to work with pencils and pretty coloured crayons rather than 'pooters for this sort of thing.....

And if all that fails, I shall mark a paper map up and get Mrs Happy Jack to scan it for me ๐Ÿ˜ณ
