Inspired by PeterPoddy's thread of a few weeks ago, I decided to build up my famous Principia frame that has been hanging in my garage(s) for the last 15-odd years. It's famous cos it went to Cycling Weekly to be reviewed back in it's day. I bought it ex-demo when it returned to the shop. Here it was in all its 20lb glory

and here it is today, build singlespeed mostly from the parts bin.
The geometry is horrendous! doesn't lend itself to the shorty stem, so I've bought a longer one from the classifieds today.
Geometry actually looks close to how it was and I can't believe the stuff I rode on that, so leant over the front!

took it for a dog walking ride (this will be its main duty) and it lulled me into a false sense of security - everything was fine til I hit a climb and then the seatpost swivelled all over the place and the chain kept jumping off - I guess I haven't got the tension right? Chain line looks ok.
