I've looked at the map and can see that there's not a lot in the way of mtbing in the area. Can anyone point me in the direction of some traffic free routes or roads with grass growing up the middle of them.
Want some chilled out riding where I don't have to worry about cars, ta.

Head southwest and you've got tonnes of quiet lanes and drove roads on the levels. The bridleway through the rspb reserve (Greylake) is very pleasant too. Langport is worth aiming for to have a cafe stop. Takeaway from the Little Bakery where you can get a head sized pain au chocolat is my favourite.

You’re right nothing around that area , plenty of lanes as you describe Moorlynch out Bawdrip cycle path to Cossington then you’re options on the Levels are pretty much endless all the way to the Mendip’s .Plenty of choice for cafes and pubs that way as well 😎
In the other direction ride to Pedwell turn right head towards High Ham , before the hill either turn right to Aller where the delights of Jim’s Cider Shack await 😎 or left and wend your way to Pitney and the delights of the Halfway House , a great real ale good grub pub 😎 are you beginning to detect a theme 😉
As long as you’re not a racing snake I’m willing to show you around , oh just remembered if you want quirky there’s the Leather and Lace bar at Chilton Polden 😳 also in Chilton Polden Js cafe .
PM me if you like but as I said if you’re not a plodder then you’ll soon get bored 🙄
