After being utterly drowned today, I really need to get away from windcheaters and 'shower' type jackets for winter.
So can anyone recommend me a lightweight, packable, breathable, waterproof, long lasting rain jacket...that also looks have decent (any price range)?

Anything from Gore. Best waterproof, Windproof, breathable jacket I've had. If you can afford it!!!

my gore failed miserably recently so I went with a recommendation ...
Castelli Muur (eVent) ... and today when the heavens opened I stayed
dry ... reeeessuulllt 🙂
