We were looking at booking to stay in Montgenevre late August but just looking at local website it looks as though the Gondran chairlift closes on 21st August.
I was hoping to ride the 'best singletrack in the world' as described in the 'Alps Mountain Biking' book by Steve Mallett.
Can anybody advise what the riding is like without access to the higher routes as it looks like I will only get one day to enjoy them.
Mainly after a mix of xc/enduro and dont really ride park!
