When I left the juicer last week it had been whittled down to two suggestions.

So…
<Insert pub name> <Insert pub postcode>
8:15 blast off
Bring money for beer

Think there were about four 🙂

I'm unlikely to make it this Monday so ignore my suggestion of something from the Whitehouse. Maybe do that the week after?

Anyone got a suggestion?

We do one from The Fisherman's at Hollingworth if you like. Either Mordor or the Piethorn loop.

Or the Coal Road. Whatever. The weather between now and Monday looks pretty good so we may not drown.

Is this the plan then?

Rostron Arms, Edenfield.
8:15 Blast Off
Bring Money for beer etc?

We'll need a leader though. Binners can you definitely make it?

Yeah. I'll lead from the back, as usual

jaffejoffer - that the route we usually do. WW will be pleased to hear that they've sanitised Michaels Wife Lane, so it may not try to kill him this time

They've concreted it, and built a fence across the bottom of it 😯

The destroyer of rear mechs is no more

So the run down through the woods it is. But you have to stop at the bottom to chuck your bike over the fence, rather than do the water splash

Sounds like a good plan is coming together.

28th September - Edenfield
5th October - The White House

I think we also said that we were going to go back to Sabden (with fireworks) around Halloween - 26th October or 2nd November?

And not much of a hint of a BMX night yet...

Gents, I kept my Pie eating hand tied behind my back for week, in an effort lose some tonnage for these uphills. That said I am now ambidextrous! As per last week, apologies in advance but I am a slow fat uphiller.

It wasn't fun scrubbing all the dry blood off to clean my knee in the shower.
Good ride though.

Riding "lights off" through the turbine field lit only by the moon is a memory that will stick with me for a while. So will the memory of Gavin hitting The Invisible Moose of Edenfield that dumped him over the bars whilst riding along a flat grass verge 😉

Glad I made the effort to get out last night. Think I'll be doing more moonlit night rides with no lights in future 🙂

That was one of the most surreal experiences i've ever had.

The moonlight and the sound of the turbines <3

Less than 3 eh? 😉

I liked coming down the Coal Road on my own. The silence of the Trigger (as featured in numerous other threads) makes me feel like...

Cracking ride as ever. I will fully commit to "lights off" next time. Only my third ever night ride, this tailgunner needs lights. As for going over the bars on a grass verge, i was oddly unharmed if you don't count bruised ego's.

OK so I've just looked at Harry's strava linkage up there and I'm somewhat confused. No binners? Again?

What earthly excuse was it this time because the riding were conditions were bloody lovely. What a waste!

Meanwhile I'm ferrying monsters about when I'd much rather be riding.

Binners if you could start popping round to mine every Monday night, then I may just have a solution that would work for both of us. I get to go out on my bike and you don't have to come up with a crap excuse every week.

Whaddya reckon? 😛

Russ. If you can get all my illustrations, and my design work done for me, to hit the ridiculous print deadlines people drop on me, then that'll all be fine, yes.
