When I left the juicer last week it had been whittled down to two suggestions.
So…
<Insert pub name> <Insert pub postcode>
8:15 blast off
Bring money for beer
Think there were about four 🙂
I'm unlikely to make it this Monday so ignore my suggestion of something from the Whitehouse. Maybe do that the week after?
Baz n I couldn't get out to do the recky this week. However I'll be out reckying it soon
I'm on holiday Tuesday so the way works looking I'll be still there at 8 on Monday which is shite.
Anyone got a suggestion?
We do one from The Fisherman's at Hollingworth if you like. Either Mordor or the Piethorn loop.
I definitely wont be there I have to take Mrs B to the eye hospital in Manchester 6-00pm.
Or we could do Cragg from The Rostron Arms in Edenfield.
Thats not a bad idea. A nice boggy Owd Betts descent to finish 😀
I have plans to be there - fingers crossed

Or the Coal Road. Whatever. The weather between now and Monday looks pretty good so we may not drown.
Is this the plan then?
Rostron Arms, Edenfield.
8:15 Blast Off
Bring Money for beer etc?
We'll need a leader though. Binners can you definitely make it?
could do. gincroft, michael wifes, up the coal road, waughs well, crag, owd betts.
may be available to debut next week...
they've sanitised the river bed!? bastards.
better to do a left off MWL up towards new hall farm then come down through the woods...
They've concreted it, and built a fence across the bottom of it 😯
The destroyer of rear mechs is no more
So the run down through the woods it is. But you have to stop at the bottom to chuck your bike over the fence, rather than do the water splash
sorry boys thet've fenced the woods off completely, only way down is the river bed
it was a fun section through the woods and over the roots ,currently being reforested
Faries had built a couple if nice jumps in there too 🙁
Sounds like a good plan is coming together.
28th September - Edenfield
5th October - The White House
I think we also said that we were going to go back to Sabden (with fireworks) around Halloween - 26th October or 2nd November?
And not much of a hint of a BMX night yet...
I'll be there if we need a leader in case Binners is struggling with another print deadline 😉
Who's playing out tonight then?
Me and Lee are in.
Binners, let me know if you fancy going the top way.
gonna try to get there, but it's dependent on work again.
Me
Looks like a perfect night for it. I reckon its going to be a bit nippy up at Cragg though. Everyone looking forward to the Coal Road? See if we can get away without snapping any frames this time eh? 😉
I think i've got one of them mountain bike type things in the garage.
I'll have a dig around and see if i can find one
Do you want me to shove your t-shirt in on the off-chance you find one?
Gents, I kept my Pie eating hand tied behind my back for week, in an effort lose some tonnage for these uphills. That said I am now ambidextrous! As per last week, apologies in advance but I am a slow fat uphiller.
I will be there. Got to love that Coal Road. 🙂
Sat here in eye hospital with mrs B envious of you all going up the Coal Road. At least I got out round Mordor earlier, enjoy, hope pubs open this time.
Are we going to go up the coal road or come down it like last time?
Really enjoyed that last night! Thanks Chaps!
It wasn't fun scrubbing all the dry blood off to clean my knee in the shower.
Good ride though.
Riding "lights off" through the turbine field lit only by the moon is a memory that will stick with me for a while. So will the memory of Gavin hitting The Invisible Moose of Edenfield that dumped him over the bars whilst riding along a flat grass verge 😉

Glad I made the effort to get out last night. Think I'll be doing more moonlit night rides with no lights in future 🙂
Watch out for The Invisible Moose.
That was one of the most surreal experiences i've ever had.
The moonlight and the sound of the turbines <3
Cracking ride as ever. I will fully commit to "lights off" next time. Only my third ever night ride, this tailgunner needs lights. As for going over the bars on a grass verge, i was oddly unharmed if you don't count bruised ego's.
OK so I've just looked at Harry's strava linkage up there and I'm somewhat confused. No binners? Again?
What earthly excuse was it this time because the riding were conditions were bloody lovely. What a waste!
Meanwhile I'm ferrying monsters about when I'd much rather be riding.
Binners if you could start popping round to mine every Monday night, then I may just have a solution that would work for both of us. I get to go out on my bike and you don't have to come up with a crap excuse every week.
Whaddya reckon? 😛
He did ride to the pub to meet us for a beer after.
😆 😆 😆
Russ. If you can get all my illustrations, and my design work done for me, to hit the ridiculous print deadlines people drop on me, then that'll all be fine, yes.
I'm going to get a nice cushy nine to five job like yours Bregante 😉
Yep 9 am to 5 am has been a regular shift for me of late.
