As per title really.

Is there a frame only or full bike option that fits the trail hardtail sweetspot like the FF29 did, being more relaxed than an XC bike but not as long, low and slack as a modern day Enduro bike?

Looking for a frame/bike that will climb well and be fun and responsive on Sussex Singletrack. It's never going to be used on anything more aggressive than the South Downs.

Got a FF29 currently, it's getting a bit tired but love riding it.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Saracen zenith or genesis mantle? Frame only option for both are pricey but the zenith alloy full bike options seems similar to ff29.

Probably some cube or Scott frames or bikes an easier route to what you are after

Don’t. I’ve still got mine but have had a couple of HT frames to dabble with since, including a bling carbon specialized s works and the FF29 is just nicer. My only complaint is it’s a bit harsh on marathon races toward the end, I think hard mainly the big seatpost.

Mine is part way through being rebuilt, and I think it’s going to be my forever hard tail. The only thing I’d sell it for is a sync.
