I didn’t go on the last one because I was fighting with my wife. But we both have our Purple belts now, so I can ride my bike again on a Monday night.

Daz has promised that this one will be less epic, we won’t get lost and nobody will get eaten by bears.

The Red Lion

6 Halifax Rd,

Littleborough

OL15 0HB

8:15 blast off

Bring money for beer and bear repellent (just in case)

That depends on the weather 😉

Last one from here was a near-whiteout. The route will be decided on the fly based on conditions and the collective appetite for adventure.

Who's 'avin it then?

Weather is looking pretty much perfect, if a little cold. The ground will be frozen, and there's snow on the tops so we should take advantage of that. It's been a bumper winter for snow riding, I'm almost getting bored of it.

On it like a car bonnet.

Anyone think we should have a mnpr uplift service?

Got a couple or routes in mind. Both snowy. If I get a chance to go and check it out this afternoon, I might consider the Mordor+ route 😉

The thread title may be slightly misleading, but the conditions will be too good to pass up the chance.

Right, I'm in. I'm bringing the comedy clown bike out to see how it handles the snow. Forecast is for clear skies, could be a cracker if the trails are frozen.

good job I went out and rode the route this afternoon as otherwise you lot would have been bogtrotting across a snowy moor with no identifiable path.

i think we’ll just do Mordor 🙂

Really enjoyed that, cheers chaps. Glad to finally get a proper snow ride in, somehow I'd managed to completely miss out on the white stuff this year. (Sorry I shot off before the pub, complicated morning today so needed an earlier start.)
