Weirdly this is going back to how the MNPR began many, many years ago.
Church Inn, Prestwich.
8:15 Blast Off.
Bring money for beer.
Terrahawk is our Leader.
Might well be up for that... how fast paced is it likely to be?
HTN preview ride. Not MNPR.
Pace: Not very.
Thanks to the mods for changing the thread title and correcting my knobbishness.
Just about to head out on the bike for the first time in about a month. So if my knee holds out, I'll be there

Ridable on a cx bike?
[quote=riklegge ]Ridable on a cx bike?
yes. faster on CX than on an MTB if t I recall the race results ๐
Finally got rid of the annoying chesty cough that I've had for the past week so I'll be there. Also cx-curious.
I may even bring mine. I could do with a laugh.
i'm hoping to be there, if the panic attacks and sheer dread from riding in a group go away at least...
Fantastic, I'll [s]start[/s] finish shaving my legs.

this course bears no resemblance to any previous HTN course, so who knows.
There's a descent that I'm particulaly keen to throw people down before the event. If anyone gets seriously hurt I'll have a think about that one.
ooh sorry did I just say that out loud?
Sounds reasonable. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
I'll probably be there

Glad to see that tradition is being upheld
I was in my garage last night til 10pm trying to cobble together a working bike for this. I had to rebuild a wheel which had un-dished itself, then took an hour trying to get a tubeless tyre to seal, then discovered the pistons in the front brake have siezed (thanks Kielder!).
Anyone want a job as a bike mechanic?
im ooot.
Still in work, the old bikes in new bits and the new ones too clean....
but as excuses go I am still in work
Mrs Ed is out so I'm not ๐
On my way
Just loading the car. Hopefully will make it in time
That was the muddiest MNPR I've done good fun though. Even washed bike when I got home instead of letting it fester.
Mines in the living room...Not clean, tho I did put it on a sheet for once
