What is the stiffest current 29er 100mm fork? I currently have a rs sid on my hardtail, but have always been somewhat underwhelmed by it, I am a big guy so I am really more interested in having a bit more beef to my fork than saving a couple of hundred grams.

Is it possible to reduce a fox 34 to 100mm travel?

Pike's can go down to 120mm, came on my bike. Google for 100mm.

1800 grams

I'm sure I've read somewhere that you can drop travel to 100mm on Revelations.

Formula 35s are internally adjustable to 100mm.

You can get a Pike DJ fork that's 100mm travel. It might have a heavier damping tune though.

Probably a Magura double arch fork?
Mine were certainly stiffer than the RS that replaced them.

Always assumed SIDs to be the ultra lightweight race forks rather than stiff.

I'd imagine a Lefty is the stiffest though this would require a new stem/wheel so probably not what you are looking for.

You certainly can. I'm running them on my Clockwork 29er.

MRP Loop is supposedly pretty stiff for what is is from what I've seen and I love my Stage.

You can run the Fox 36 at 100mm.
Not sure you can get stiffer than that.

Pike DJ 100mm exists, but not in 29'' form so not entirely sure whether internals/air shaft will allow the reductions to 100mm on the 29'' chassis.

Presuming the suspension is set well, have you tried adding additional volume spacers? For a couple of ££ it will make a big difference and could save you having to buy a new fork!

Fellow 'larger gentleman' here and My 29er DT OPM's are stiffer than they have any right to be.

Try and find a set to have a go on if you can.
