Looks are everything, cut the cable guides too, stuff being versatile is meaningless

what a ridiculous thing to contemplate. if you wanted a frame with horizontal drops you should have bought one.

Personally wouldn't but then I've just stuck a 1X9 drivetrain on my Swift.

Why would you want to cut it off? Hardly going to make the bike any lighter.

Been tempted to do the same on my on-one. Think I'll leave it though as it's quite an important bit if I ever come to sell it. Turned my other geared on-one into a 1x9 and hacked off cable guides and rack tabs, looks better.

I'd leave it, purely from a resale point of view

hell, why bother with a frame?

So, you've got a very nice, versitile frame, and you're thinking of cutting the mech hanger off, purely for looks?

Well, that BB isn't going to win any prizes for good looks and you can't get rid of that. And if you think hacking the hanger off and trying to match the paint is going to make it look better, they you're sadly mistaken.....

I can't imagine why you'd even contemplate it. ๐Ÿ˜
