For example if I had a 27.5plus frame like the new Charge Cooker or Cotic Solaris can I run 29er specific parts on it? I think I'm right in saying the wheels will go in fine but can I run 29er forks or do they have to be 27.5plus specific? Thanks

27.5+ and 29er forks are interchangeable/the same. The only thing is the + forks will be Boost (110mm) axles. Fitting 27.5+ rims and tyres in a 29er fork might work depending on how wide you want to go.
