During an enduro at the weekend I was getting horrendous chain suck. On cleaning the bike the i noticed the chain rings (sram x9)were worn. The problem is that im working away the rest of this week, I have another enduro this sat and i havent got the time to buy replacement x9 chain rings. I do however have some shimano xt chain rings (relatively new).
Will this mix and match approach work?

Probably, although some XT cranks have oddly shaped inned edges, so a bit of filing might be needed
