*and have a unknown wait for new ones to come back in stock at the distributors.
not going to affect tyre mounting since the interior face of the rim looks undamaged
If it was very expensive and/or you're a big tart, send it back
Send it back or if you dont mind negotiate a discount for it ?

The only thing I was worried about was it damaging the tyre when under load, it's a CX wheel so the odd tree rooty bump, but thinking if I clean any burrs off and use some black nail polish to fill, it will be fine.

It was a warranty replacement upgrade, so essentially cost me nothing. So while I am bit miffed, as long as there is no risk of it damage to the tyre, I am fine with it.
Sell it to Hora as brand new and unused
I'd send it back, it'd annoy me.

....aaaaand there is that. As regardless of them being a upgrade replacement. They should still be in one piece.
Only problem is, they are on backorder with the distributors, so sending them back could mean a long wait, hopefully know how long tomorrow, and no bike till it's sorted.
The other issue is that the reason I got some 'better' wheels is that the originals were not available for a 3 weeks. So to get me on the road quicker, I was offered a higher spec wheelset. If I take these back and it's going to be a similar timeframe, there may be a chance I may end up with the lower spec wheels as they will be in stock then as well.
