My Dad wrote a book titled "the history of the bicycle in war", it was a good read although the publisher rejected it due to probable lack of demand!

Had a good 1st WW section about putting bikes across the road to slow the approaching cavalry while you hide in a ditch and take pot shots at them!

really - sound like he should try another publisher.. sounds a good book

My sister use to have one of these in the late 80s - it was a real beast of a machine. No custom butted tubes here but fat tyres and a gun holder!
