I have a mac. I have an old Garmin etrex which comes with a serial port based cable to connect to a pc (which died some time ago).
I have the serial-usb cable.
What settings to get memory map to comunicate with my old tech??

You'll need to install the drivers that came with your USB-Serial adaptor. Memory Map should then be able to see the Etrex.

+1 Rip - but you also need to set the baud rate etc on MM IIRC? Or I think it has a drop down list for model numbers?
