Just got a new hanger from halfords and it is the right shape for it however, the hole where it bolts on to the frame doesn't line up and therefore won't screw in straight.
There's another place online that sells replacement hangers; would this line up better.
Is it safe to screw it in a bit wonky?
Any advice

Back to halfords and get it changed for one that fits - or is your frame distorted?
