The foam ones, they just spin around. Tried three different bars...on/off easy as pie.
Therefore I assume I'm missing something?

I've tried hairspray, starch, artists mount spray and finally spray paint with cable ties and they seem to be holding but still move a little. Looking for lock ons which are bar end compatible...

If I ride my bike they slip off when I turn the bars 😯

Put some skateboard grip tape under them

Put something grippy under them. Another grip maybe. A lock-on obviously, that way when you want to remove these ones, just unscrew the lockon and remove them both.

OTT and would negate the lightweightness instantly, alternatively take them back and tell them they don't fit

ESI Grips, FTW - far comfier, and go on and off easy, and stick on like no one's business.

Forget the KCNC ones, they just spin.

Evostick works well and weighs next to nothing.

Foam grips are meant to be 'disposable' items.

I buy the 4-pack of road grips and use just one cut in half for a pair of straight-bar grips.

Even some Poundland shops sell them....which reminds me, Poundland in Bromsgrove had 34g polymer bottle cages at...you've guessed it £1.

Titec Pork Rinds are essentially the same profile super light weight grip but they actually have a good fit on the bars. Can't fault them!

+1 for the On One half-bob grips

Foam and locking, plus lighter than Lock-ons

Tried of five sets of bars now and they still move. Love the feel though, but I've got to sort them before I race in May.

Glue?

The foam ones with a flat edge? Got to be something wrong there with those. Mine are bloody tight and I only just got them on with hairspray.

Bonty OS
Giant OS
Ritchey 25.4
Truvativ 25.4
Raceface 25.4

All flat bars, the race face are the best fit. Might try that other brand.

Sorry, yep the ones with the flat section. Mine were brownish inside, not sure if that's normal?

Should be through colour. What colour have you got?

Take them off and wash them out inside with hot soapy water. Then be liberal inside with spraymount and tie-wire them on. Job done.

you could put double sided tape on the bar first, douse it with white spirit and inside the grip - slide it on, let the spirit evapourate. Thats how I used to fit golf grips

They're white, inside it looks like a coating of shelac or varnish has been applied.

After a month's use? They'll (rightly) tell you to jog on. Not quite sure what you expected to happen having tried them on 3 bars already, should've sent them back then and got some proper ones 😕

Bontrager XXX Lite FTW.
