Anyone get MBUK ?
I subscribed when I first started MTBing and I don't really read it now it just drops through the door and I flick through the pictures so I really should cancel.
This month they have a map of Rivington so, if any locals can confirm, they list it as a Hard Route. It starts in the Dogging car park by the Castle, through to the tea rooms by the primary school then over to Healy Nab.
From what I can gather comparing the map to the OS map, it goes to the pike UP the Ice Cream Run......now, I'm not the best MTBer but I don't know anyone who can ride up the ICR, may be proven otherwise on here......
Is this typical of these routes in MBUK ? Anyone actually read this mag as well as STW as MBUK seems like a boy racer mag compared to STW
up the ICR is entirely do-able but not much fun. Seen it done a few times. (Not me)
Hard to imagine a climb of Rivi and a trip over to Healy Nab that's legit' enough to publish in a mag and still fun though.
