just ordered one on impulse really! is it going to be a good buy to try and cope with muddy singletrack on the front end? any good reports or bad reports for them? will run front only for time being and at quite a low pressure too with it being tubeless ust!

is this a good buy? ive used mud x's in the past but wanted a proper UST tyre especially maxxis ones as the sidewalls seem stronger

Used to run 'em front and rear on a cotic - much better than a mud x IMO

It'll be fine

Have one as a front tyre.. Much tougher than a mud x.. Silly low pressures are possible! I've put dents in a Stans 355 using it, and it's never punctured.

EDIT: S***.. I've said it now!

I have been running one on the rear for the past 3 months or so, very grippy and I had no complaints with it. Unfortunately it split last week near the beading, it was on a rocky descent so I'm not going to moan about it having weak sidewalls. A decent winter tyre for the rear, never tried it on the front so I wouldn't know how it'll hold though slipprey corners and the like.
