Anyone successfully stripped and rebuilt one of these posts.?..I have managed to strip and rebuild but I can't figure out how to get air back in to it!.....any ideas?

ummmmm....I have one, stripped it down and regreased and rebuilt but never let out any air during this process. Didn't even spot a valve to let the air out if I'm honest, although I did wonder?

Keep us posted as to how you get on!

BTW, I phoned the guys at purerace when I had an issue with mine. Most useful!

Problem is I should have stopped at the basic regrease.but was on a roll and decided to strip the hydraulic shaft.when you dismantle it you hear air coming out which must assist in the post returning to fully extended.ican see a tiny pin hole in the bottom nut which may be where it goes in,but **** knows how you do it....!

You need to use a ball needle in the one of the pin holes.
