Going to the Alps in a few weeks and thinking about running some higher volume tyres to avoid pinch flats and protect the rims.
Anyone know what is the maximum size tyre i can run on my stumpjumper. Clearence at the back looks a bit tight, with the 2.1 Advantages i'm currently running.

I run 2.35 spesh eskars front and back with no clearance issues, those advantages do blow up way oversize so I don't imagine the eskars would be much bigger.
