looking at getting some new brakes and was just wonder ing what the biggest disc size is I can get on the bakc of my 5 spot?
anyone know?

I fitted a 183 to a friends bike. No idea if that was the maximum though. How big do you want to go?

i can get a good deal on some formulas with 203mm disc

Sell the 203's and buy smaller ones? I wouldn't try and put that size discs on a 5" trail bike unless I was the size of two men!

Well I am 17.5 stone so nearly the size!!
Anyway I've just ordered a set from crc with 180mm discs!!

Never needed more than 165 mm on the back.
And with the dw link rear triangle no calliper spacer / bracket is required = tidy fitting !
