A mate had a rear mech/spoke coming together, he got the wheel patched up but wants the spokes replaced with the Mavic ones. They are straight pull flat bladed apparently, anybody know of a supplier for them?

Almost any LBS will be able to order them up for you.

I had a couple of spokes go on mine and managed, just, to get the LBS to replace them
However they would not order them so, but have some spare in the back
They weren't 100% the right length and were about 2mm short, but I got away with it and replaced them myself
The shop huffed and puffed about it and I have never returned there as each time I ask fir something that they cannot sell me off the shelf they fannied about as if it was too much trouble

When the rear axle snapped I could not get one for love nor money an ended up buying a new back wheel

Good luck

It took Hewitts 10 weeks to get Mavic Crossride spokes fort me a couple of years ago. I've not bought a factory wheelset since, just in case the same thing happens. And at 5 quid a spoke it's a bit ridiculous.
