I hsave a new set of 2015 mavic crossrides it states they are for tire sizes from 1.5 to 2.3 would it be possible to use this wheel set in a cyclo cross or tourer type frame ?
Not a problem at all for cyclocross, have crossmax's as my main wheels and crossrides as my spares. As long as you have 135mm rear dropouts they work. They do give a higher air chamber than a road wheel, so bit more pressure for the same amount of the squidge needed.
I have crossrides on my soma doublecross and use 700x35c vittoias
Using them with 35mm rocket Ron's in an on-one dirty disco
I bought a London road to build up for a bit of a utility bike so they are going in there with 9 speed mtb gearing I hope, If i can get it all to work
