Why are mavic 317 rims so much cheaper than mavic 717/719 rims all 3 are xc/all mountain rims

317 is about 50g heavier is made from a heavier alloy 6061 as opposed to maxtal alloy and the welding and jointing is stronger on the xc717 rims called SUP.
