What size hex bolts hold them on to the legs?

I have a DUC32, the guards but no bolts and want to get to the nut and bolt shop this afternoon.

Google's not helping and the Maverick literature doesn't list them separatly.

Ta.

They're cross head dome screws, not hex heads, but that doesn't really matter. Try and get some matching split washers while you're there.

Just had a look at mrs J's sc32: they are held on by dome headed phillips screws, m3 thread, 6mm long. Service manual calls these "phillips pan head".

There are also those folded steel spring clips that go between the fork guards and the dropout: (they hold the dropout levers shut) -if you don't have them, you may need a little washer to space the guards out a bit as not sure what the clearance between the guards and upper legs would be would be like otherwise, or indeed how deep the hole is that the screws go into.

{edit} ah, beat me to it. ๐Ÿ˜€
