Hi,
Long time since i last posted so be gentle.
I've bought myself some Avid XX brakes and XX triggers. I'm attempting to mount them on the matchmaker X clamps but it's not happening.
With the clamps bolted to the shifters i can close them on the bars fine, but if i put the brake in between they won't close. They need to close a further 2mm ish if im to get the bolt in.
I've tried to assemble them off the bar which works but even with the bolt completetly slack i can't even slide them over the end of the bar with the grip off 😥
My bars are Easton EC70's from 2006.
Any thoughts/ideas on what's wrong ?
