Does anyone have any experience with this fork? just bought a pair as my 55s seem to like the windwave more than me.

Under the Gold rebound adjuster there seems to be another place where you can put air in ? The forks seem a lot firmer then my 55s are. Ive let most of the air out of the air preload side ( left leg if viewed from the saddle). However Im wondering if there is too much air in the right leg.

I think marzocchi refer to it as a HSCV cartridge. Or could it be that the coil springs are just to firm? Im about 11.5 stone. It looks like i need an adapter to to fit my shock pump on .

Let all the air out of both legs. The springs are quite firm. You could also take the spring out of the left leg if you fancied, so it only uses one spring. Will soften it up even more.

Yes you need a special pump adaptor to add air to the right leg

These arent air forks either, the air is only there to add preload. So you should probably be using no more than 20psi at max, but at 11.5 stone i'd say no air at all would do you

thanks david
Ok. I'll try letting all the air outta both legs. Do you know what the hscv is all about? I cant find much info on marzocchi's web site.

Will i get a shit load of oil in my face is I try and let the air out without the pump attatched?

Hi mate, yes I know they are coil forks. The same as my 55 tst 2 which I run at about 6psi with a low pressure shock pump.

HSCV is just the damping cartridge. High Speed Control Valve or something.

Put a rag over the hole when your letting the air out? Not much oil comes out anyway

Nice one. All the air is out and still seems quite firm . So might take a spring out as you suggested . But Will have to see how they perform on some nice gaps etc first.

Many Thanks for your help.

A apring out of the left leg would probably be best. If your doing the "push down on your bars" test then they will feel quite firm, but I think once you start riding some drops and jumps with them then they will be fine.

Another question . After bonking it down some stairs I can only seem to get it to move 120mm. The guy that sold it to me said that its previous owner had serviced and set to travel to 150mm. The stantions seem to be showing 150mm from seal to crown? is that the indicator of travel length?

Yeh, the stanchions indicate the travel. They've probably got too much oil in them
