Afternoon all. Hope someone can help. I bought a used bike last night and it is fitted with the above forks.
The bike has had very little use and not had any over the last 8 to 12 months.
The problem is, the forks don't seem to want to extend to its full travel of 140mm. I have tried putting in more air, however this only seems to raise them to around 90mm travel and that's with too much psi in them.
They extend a little further when you push down on the wheel and lift the bars but not any where near where they need to be.
Looking on google, there seems to be quite a few issues with the forks.
Is there anyone local to Wetherby who is interested in having a look at these for me? Beer tokens wil be provided!
To be honest, I prefer Rock Shox and so if any one thinks they can do anything with them and wants to do a swop with money their way, I'm happy to do that too.
