Great bars, really comfy. Do be prepared for constant piss taking by your 'trail buddies', and lots of little remarks like 'when you getting the basket' etc. 😆

Great seated riding position, but just a word of warning, they're not overly wide so with the bend they can feel a little narrow.

Got two bikes with them on.

I love them, basically find I get less wrist problems, (one of these is a SS rigid incidentally). Absolutely no control problems, and the answer to the shopping bike thing is "Conformist!"

I'm still in two minds about them. I find their sweep brings my elbows in too far, so in order to bend them I have to bend them downwards instead of outwards.

I use them on my SS, and they're admittedly great for climbing.

I have a set - good for touring / non techy riding as they are soooooooooo comfy but I have the same issue as Alisdair above - made controlling the bike in the air even harder for me than it is anyway.

I think I'll end up in the same place as I do with tyres - swapping around on my only MTB depending where I am riding.

i found them ok but never got used to them. one issue i had was that i like my brake levers really far in so my index fingers are on them just before the up-turned end bit. there wasn't enough space for them and the shifters to be set like that.

Borrowed a set for my ss..
Really comfy and great for climbing, but make you feel reeally wobbly on switchback descents.
Still toying with actually buying a set, but afraid I'll get laughed at.. again!

got a 120mm stem with mine ,just find for fast techie stuff that my hands
get moved inward and i have to keep re-positioning them
great everywhere else
bikewhisperer just laugh back at their generalsed trail-park faddy bikes 😆

I have them on my commuter, the SS and the hardtail, Mrs F has them on her hardtail and has just specced them on the SS she's decided she needs 🙂 - we like them.
Half their old price at On One at the moment, too...

Great bars for comfort & climbing on an SS or tourer, but can be a bit erratic on steep, rocky descents. As mentioned above you can currently get a set from On-One at a little over £20 including postage.

However take note, the silver 'chrome' ones are considerably heavier than the standard ones. Worth knowing if component weight is important to you.

i got them for wrist issues - really good. i have them pointing down a little, super comfy - I think risers make your elbows stick out too much for normal riding. I did have to get a steeper stem as the hand position is low like a flat bar. having the same issues with the midge pro now - quite low position.

actually the midge might be a good starting point - less aggressive sweep

I like them a lot. Not sure that they're really a problem for technical stuff personally, but that said I no longer have them on my hooliganish bike.
