Fed up of buying new cassettes cos I've worn out the 16T sprocket. Thinking of getting a Marchisio one and replacing them. Anyone tried them?

don't think so (can't find anyone selling them anyway). Yeah I'm wondering about getting singlespeed sprockets and putting them on

Not used Marchisio, but currently running a Mavic M10 cassette to get round running Campag drivetrain with a disc (i.e. Shimano splined) hub.

If Marchisio cassettes are much like the mavic one (I heard somewhere they were both manufactured by the same people - don't know if this is true) I don't think you'll have much joy replacing a single sprocket as the teeth are much higher than the ones on cassettes from the major manufacturers - if that makes sense

I didn't realise Mavic did them too, how easy are the sprockets to get hold of separately? I'm happy to replace the whole cassette if I can then change individual rings in future. Also have you had any problems witht he sprockets digging into the freehub body? I'm guessing the individual rings are much more prone to this than a cassette, unless they have some kind of carrier type thing too.

isn't a mavic spline not the same as shimano but a little deeper?

Some 16T sprockets on here:
