As a long time RockShox rider I have no idea what the current Manitou forks are like. Does anyone have any experience of running Minute pro with the 20mm hex axle?

Axle fitment is a bit of a PITA if you are used to Maxles. However if you don't regularly need to remove and re-install your front wheel they are nice forks. Probably one of the best forks for the money out there.
i've 2 pairs of minutes (09/10 models). the hex lock thingy is a right PITA to be honest...
forks are lovely though - light, reasonably stiff and feel good (to me at least!)
stanchions haven't worn out after 2 years hard use on both (unlike my old revs) and after 2 years they both now need their 1st service (unlike after every 15 hrs on fox...)
i like 'em.
running minute 29ers (q/r) with absolute+ damper. i think they feel better than rockshox motion control damping, also they are lighter and cheaper.
